We are looking for skilled and dependable Data Center Technicians to join our team. The role involves providing on-site and remote hands support for our clientsโ data center operations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.

Technical Skills:
โ Technical knowledge: Familiarity with server, storage, and networking hardware.
โ Strong proficiency in server hardware (Dell, HPE, IBM,Supermicro).
โ Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper and other network equipments.
โ Problem-solving: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
โ Ability to interpret technical schematics and documentation.
โ Cabling expertise: Experience in structured cabling, labeling, and cable testing.
โ Physical ability: Capable of lifting and installing rack-mounted equipment.
โ Security awareness: Adherence to data center access protocols and compliance standards.
Soft Skills:
โ Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
โ Strong communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.
โ Documentation: Accurate record-keeping of interventions, changes, and asset management.

Smart-Hands Operations
๐น Physical equipment installation, changes, and decommissioning: Install or remove servers, storage devices, network switches, and other hardware per
documented instructions.
๐น Rack and stack equipment: Position and mount devices in racks, ensuring secure connections and optimal airflow.
๐น Cable management: Run, label, test, and organize network and power cabling.
๐น Component replacement and upgrades: Swap faulty hardware (e.g., drives, power supplies, memory), upgrade components as directed.
๐น Asset audits and inventory: Conduct physical inspections, tag and update hardware assets, and maintain up-to-date equipment records.
๐น Routine maintenance tasks: Clean equipment, visually inspect for issues, check fans and status lights.
๐น On-the-ground troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues that require physical access.
